Authors and publishers, we receive many requests for KidLit book reviews on our YouTube Channel. We read everything you send us, but can’t review all the books on our YouTube Channel. For authors and publishers who send us books (and whose books we don’t review on YouTube), we can post written book reviews on our blog, based on input from our Reader Leaders.
For authors and publishers whose KidLit books we’ve reviewed on our blog or YouTube Page and who would like stickers for their books, we offer the following two options in our store. These stickers show that our young readers gave your books a thumbs up!
Please email us at RovingReaderLeaders@gmail.com to request a book review! Please put “book review request” in the email subject line.
In the meantime, please visit our YouTube Channel to check out our book reviews and to subscribe to our channel (Click on the red “Subscribe” button on the right hand side, just under the photos of our Reader Leaders). You can also follow our reviews on our Facebook Page.

In addition to reviewing books published traditionally, the Roving Reader Leaders review independently published KidLit. Here’s one example:
Curious about how we started reviewing and writing books? It all began with the death of Lisa and Michael’s dog, Lucy, two years ago. To help them overcome their grief, they wrote their first book, “Bash and Lucy Fetch Confidence,” and started a YouTube Channel where Michael and friends reviewed kids’ dog books. Why? Because Michael loves to talk about dog books! In each review, Michael insisted on beginning the review by “getting stuck,” and ending with Lisa saying, “I hope to have you back soon,” to which he responded, “How about we do it now?”
We began by reviewing only kids’ dog books, but, as Michael and his friends started exploring other books–including chapter books–we decided to review anything KidLit. Again, you can email us at RovingReaderLeaders@gmail.com.
